Chevron Flooring - A Contemporary Style Statement
A few years ago our wood flooring partner, HKS 1835, learnt that the traditional chevron wood flooring pattern (also known as Hungarian point) was having somewhat of an renaissance. HKS therefore decided to produce it in a modern way.
The chevron pattern is part of the Krugers range, and it's available in widths of 100 mm and 120 mm, and in 600 mm lengths. The chevron range is available in the following thicknesses:
- 12/3 mm
- 15/3 mm
- 16/4 mm
- 19/4 mm
- 21/6 mm
HKS produce chevron in both 45° and 60° angles, and in 600 mm lengths.
The chevron planks are produced in Europe. The top layer is made from European oak and is based on high quality birch plywood. This layer is very resistant and can be sanded several times.
The Krugers range is also suitable for water based underfloor heating.
The range offers eighteen different finishes, plus one unfinished, and they provide a great option if you're looking for a strong style statement.
